The Heart of Texas Baptist Network seeks to equip, encourage, and inspire our churches and their leaders to be faithful in all they do.
Our ministries are focused on these three goals.

EQUIP

We seek to equip our churches and their leaders to be obedient to the Great Commission. We do this through the ministries of our Equipping Team and Mission Team.

Our Equipping Team leads conferences/trainings a few times a year focused on practical ministry issues such as policies/procedures, preaching, pastoral care, personnel and employee issues etc.

Our Mission Team seeks to connect our churches to the global mission of God through training, short term mission trips, relationships with missionaries on the field, disseminating information about the mission work of Network churches, and encouraging personal ministry to the missionaries staying in the Missionary-in-Residence House.

We also seek to help churches by consulting with search committees, connecting them with denominational leaders and programs, helping churches work through legal issues, and any other resources they may need.

ENCOURAGE

INSPIRE

The Heart of Texas Baptist Network desires to unify our 61 churches around the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want those to whom we minister to be inspired to obey the Great Commandment in their lives.

We read the Bible together through the Community Bible Reading plan and send out devotionals twice a week based on our reading.

All of our ministries are meant to help our churches come together to make a global impact for the Kingdom of God.

The Heart of Texas Baptist Network seeks to build relationships with churches and their leaders to encourage them as they pursue faithful ministry in their community and around the world.

We know leading a church and/or a ministry can be extremely lonely. We try to foster opportunities for pastors/staff to connect with others and to be encouraged by the love of God and their love for one another.

Every Wednesday we host a Pastors Encouragement Network breakfast at 8:15 am at the Network Office. This is a time for pastors/staff to connect and be encouraged by one another.

Every year we have a Pastor/Staff retreat. We gather for a Friday night and Saturday morning to get away together in order to build relationships and be refreshed for the new year of ministry.
